Hello from Sahgun del Campo!
Hello there! There is so much to share and not much at all. Since I last wrote we have been to Granon, and dined in an exclusive gentlemans club(not strip bar but a real club where old Spanish men talk and play cards and eat) called The Syndicate, then walked to Villafranca Montes de Oca, where after having a real hell of a day, we checked in to this fabulous hotel that used to be the hospital of the Queen. It was so lovely and had a fantastic bathtub that I sat in and soaked in, for what seemed like hours!! We met some fantastic people and have been walking with one of them since…. After our fab time there, we climbed a mountain and went to Atapuerca, where they have found the oldest remains of man(if I am to understand correctly). We have gone to Burgos and seen the cathedral and then to Hontanas where we slept in a place with a big sky light and I stared at the stars as I drifted off to sleep. We have walked so much, and my feet have blisters all over them, including my heels, which makes it hard to walk right now. This is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done, but I am really enjoying it. I have more to tell you but will share some photos and write more in a bit…. Much love, Leigh and Adam Xxx
