Bergen aan Zee

We decided to go back to the North Sea before leaving Alkmaar to dip our toes in the water. The ride is so lovely, we took our time and enjoyed the countryside. I really love the active lifestyle that everyone has here. My biking skills are not great, but I am learning...quickly! The foldable aluminum bikes are great for storage on a boat and much lighter than the traditional ones and definitely much lighter than the electric ones.

Even with a little baggage trolly for you towels and wine the bike is super light!

We found the cutest little bar, had a little wine and I got to dip my toes in the North Sea!

This kite surfer was having the most fun and it was awesome to watch him fly through the air with the greatest of ease!
